This one is from early 2013 - The distinctive drumlin islands in Clew Bay, Ireland. It's a scene I have painted many times but I think this is my most successful effort at capturing the light and mood of the area.

Bryan Salutes the Stretford End after United beat Barcelona 3-0, March 21st, 1984.

This is a detail of a larger landscape piece based on the Connemara landscape. The layers of acrylic from previous renditions add interesting textures. 

I've been painting over a lot of older works recently, which I've struggled to do in the past. It's difficult to admit when something is rubbish (most of it is), but I'm finding it pretty theraputic and somewhat liberating lately.

Further additions to a series of 5"x4" abstract landscape studies inspired by the west of Ireland. The six pieces below were painted at the same time, on the same page divided in to equal areas with masking tape.

This one is recently finished tricolour commission. It was largely painted in one (long) session, underpainted with brush and finished with palette knives.
